Introduction
Dr. Chen is currently an Assistant Professor of literacy in the department of Language, Learning & Leadership. She earned her Ph.D. in literacy and language education from Purdue University in 2007. She has taught courses at the college level both in China and in the United States. Dr. Chen holds primary interest in the socio-cultural aspects of language and literacy learning.
