Join us for a special evening with Fredonia alumnus and Grammy award-winning teacher-musician, Kent Knappenberger and friends. All proceeds benefit the Knappenberger Scholarship which is awarded to a student from Westfield Academy and Central School, enrolled at Fredonia. An eclectic concert from Baroque to Folk, featuring special guests Dan and Helen Ihasz, Angela Haas, Emily Parker, Nannette and Lucy Knappenberger, Allison Snavely, the Westwinds Chamber Choir, and the McClurg Street String Band. More guests to be announced soon!Suggested minimum donation for ticket is $10, however donations in any amount are appreciated. Stay Loose With Bruce: Celebrate the Extraordinary Career of Bruce Johnstone

Jazz tribute for Bruce Johnstone, retiring Director of Jazz Studies and Baritone Saxophone player, featuring the Fredonia Jazz Ensemble directed by Zach Busch and the Fredonia Big Band directed by Mike Massaro. Bruce will perform with both groups and will be featured on the tune "Hang Loose with Bruce," written for him by Maynard Ferguson. In addition to the two big bands, vocalists from Bruce Johnstoneís Curricular Jazz Ensemble will be performing, including Nia Drummond.Arrangements for this free concert were made by Dr. Linda Phillips of the Fredonia School of Music and by Zach Busch and Mike Massaro. Free.

There's trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian. By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957. Glen Cortese leads the Western New York Chamber Orchestra, performing on stage with some of Fredonia's most talented students in this concert production staged by Brent Weber.
