Emily Jennings-Ivey received her MFA in sculpture from Rhode Island School of Design in 1983 and her BFA in Metal Arts from California College of Arts and Crafts in 1974. She has taught the courses Foundation in 2D Form and Content and Foundations in Drawing I for the past ten years. Her work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Art, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Laguna Gloria Museum, the Houston Contemporary Arts Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the Santa Fe Fine Arts Museum. Outdoor sculpture exhibits include "Art On The Beach" in Battery Park, New York City, ARTPARK in Lewiston, New York, and "A Century of Texas Sculpture." She has been awarded the M-AAA NEA Fellowship Award in Sculpture.
