Timothy Frerichs Timothy Frerichs received a Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College, MN, and a Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa, Iowa. Frerichs currently is the Foundations Coordinator and teaches Printmaking in the Department of Visual Arts and New Media. Tim Frerichs’ drawings, prints and multimedia work have been widely exhibited internationally and nationally. He has received numerous awards including a 2007 Senior Lecture Award Fulbright to the Universität Osnabrück, Germany. This is his second Fulbright to Germany, having received an award for the year following his MFA. Frerichs has also spent time researching in Uppsala, Sweden through an American-Scandinavian Fellowship and later as a Visiting Artist with the Universität Uppsala Botanical Gardens. Tim Frerichs’ drawings, prints and multimedia work have been widely exhibited internationally and nationally. His artwork is included in international and national public and private collections. |
