Health Professions Advising
I chair the Health Professions Advising Committee. Students interested in careers as physicians, dentists, optometrists and veterinarians should meet with me to discuss their interests. Additional information on health professions advising is at: www.fredonia.edu/hpap.
My major research focus has been in the area of environmental microbiology. Previous studies will colleagues and biology students have been on a botulism type E outbreak in Lake Erie and on microbial source tracking in local lakes and beaches. My current research students have been investigating a microbial community in a biofilm located near Canadaway Creek.
