Cell Biologist: The Biology Department at SUNY Fredonia has a tenure track opening at the Assistant Professor level for a broadly trained cell biologist beginning in the Fall of 2013. Candidates must possess a PhD by 8/15/13, a strong commitment to teaching and research in a liberal arts environment and a strong commitment to pre-professional health education. Postdoctoral research is expected and teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching courses in cellular and molecular biology, courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and non-majors courses. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program that involves undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students and leads to grant applications and publication in peer reviewed journals.
