Katelyn says her favorite things about Fredonia are the faculty and staff in the Biology department. She believes every single one of the professors of the department has shown an outstanding passion to help students and prepare them for their future. Katelyn’s second favorite thing about SUNY Fredonia is the Learning Center. She says it gives her a chance to meet with classmates and discuss course material with the guidance of a tutor. Katelyn enjoys the unlimited amount of campus involvement and says there is never a day at Fredonia where she is bored.

Katelyn’s goals for the future include graduating in May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from SUNY Fredonia with academic honors of Summa Cum Laude. She plans on attending Veterinarian Medical School in the fall of 2010. As a veterinarian, she wants to practice on large animals with an emphasis on dairy cattle and equine sports medicine.
