Statement

Mrs. Gerber is a Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences.  Her areas of interest include evaluation and intervention of language development and disorders in early childhood and preschool children, development of language-based structured play activities in collaboration with classroom teachers, and counseling for speech, language and listening activities and modeling at home.  She has presented workshops for teachers at daycare-preschool centers on attending, listening, and language.  She teaches the undergraduate course Clinical Methods in Intervention.
