Communication Disorders Student Society (CDSS)

Communication Disorders Student Society (CDSS), is SUNY Fredonia’s own student communication sciences and disorders group on campus and a chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA).

Our purpose is . . . to promote additional learning of communication sciences and disorders outside of the classroom setting through social activities and interactions, to learn from the clinical experiences of the faculty, fellow classmates and area professionals, and to enhance the community spirit among our students.

Some of our annual activities include . . . sponsorship of continuing education conferences, annual Awards Night banquet for majors and faculty, and "Life After Fredonia" workshops given by alumni speech-language pathologists.
