The Department of Communication at SUNY Fredonia invites applications for a tenure-track position in studio/video production beginning in fall 2008. Terminal degree with professional experience preferred; ABD or master’s degree with extensive professional/teaching experience considered. Successful candidates will be able to teach introductory and advanced courses in studio production and related mass media courses.  Interest or experience in journalism and/or audio production a plus.

The Department of Communication at SUNY Fredonia invites applications for a tenure-track position in journalism beginning in fall 2008. Terminal degree with professional experience preferred; ABD or master’s degree with extensive professional/teaching experience considered. Successful candidates will be able to teach introductory and advanced courses in print, broadcast and web journalism.  Interest in teaching other related media courses a plus.  We are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to the development of a new journalism major with an emphasis on an interdisciplinary and global approach to convergent journalism.
