Many a person have gone through life without a dream. Dreams weigh too heavy on the ego when they are not realized, some figure in order to counterbalance their chosen state of dreamlessness. But as I've grown and experienced the times of life, I have learned to appreciate the power of the dream. I was eleven years old when I first decided to become an author. I was always interested in the morphic and various patterns of the English expression. My seventh grade teacher was the one who inspired me to write. And I've been writing ever since. I've won many different awards for my various efforts in literature. And I am extremely proud of them. But what allows me the benefit of a captivating life is that I've never underestimated the power of the dream. I am still on the road to fulfilling my dream. And that's why I've chosen English as my major. And as I walk forward with the cool wind brushing gently against the pride on my face, I hold my head even higher; for I know that before soon I'll be living the life of the dream.
