I've formalized the requirements for the discussion leader assignment you've all done. Please note that like the final research project, a component of the assignment is due over email by July 1.

Hey all, I've finally updated the main page to reflect the final revisions to the syllabus we've been making in our class meetings and gotten the assignment sheet for the Final Research Project up and running. I've also upoated the Critical Essay and links pages.

OK, the course web site is up-to-date (I've added some links to "alternate histories" on the links page, for instance) and our course Blackboard site is running as well: http://blackboard.fredonia.edu/. Check it out when you get a chance. Our next meeting is May 31!

As of today we have one undergraduate officially signed up for the course and two graduate students who have expressed interest in taking it. I've arranged with the people in charge of summer sessions at Fredonia to keep this course open for students to sign up during in-person registration on May 23. We'll meet as usual on May 24 in Thompson W-231 at 10:50 am to take stock of our class size and adjust the course requirements accordingly.
