| Requirements for the Minor in Latino Studies
Required: 21 credit hours from the following. Students declaring Latino Studies minor may use past courses retroactively after consultation with the coordinator. Required Course (3 credit hours): INDS 220/HIST 220 Introduction to Ethnicity and Race (3) Core Courses (9 credit hours): Note: Students are required to take one semester of language, unless otherwise advised by the program coordinator, and one course from each of the remaining groups listed below - Literature and History. All courses from the Department of Modern (Foreign) Languages and Literatures designated as LANG are taught in English with the exception of LANG 400 Special Topics, which may be taught in Spanish or English, as determined by the instructor; all courses designated SPAN are taught in Spanish.
