Some notes on class restrictions and overrides:
All AADM courses required departmental approval. Meet with me during advising week to discuss which AADM course you wish to take. For AADM 410 (Box Office Practicum) this approval is granted by Alison Barry, Ticket Office Manger. You will need to see her to discuss which section you wish to take and she will issue the override needed. For AADM 400, 480 and 490, I will issue the overrides. It is good to follow up with an email to me with the CRN of the section you wish to take as well as your F number. This makes it easier for me to issue the override.
|Also, please also note that some courses, such as BUAD 232 may show on the course offerings web site as having a long list of prerequisites. In many cases, the prerequisites do not apply to arts administration majors, but the Banner data base has not been updated to this effect. Therefore you may need a prerequisite override. After discussing your need for an override in person, please email me with your name, F#, the department, course name and exact CRN of the section you need, as well as the specific type of override needs (prerequisite, department approval, Jr. Standing, etc.) Due to high volume of emails I receive, it is a good idea to follow up in person or by phone if you have not hear back from me within a day or two.
