In addition to the Applied Mathematics Core, the Physics Option requires the following coursework:
- MATH 325 Numerical Analysis
- One additonal MATH or STAT course numbered 311 or above
- PHYS 230 and PHYS 232 University Physics I with Lab
- PHYS 231 and PHYS 233 University Physics II with Lab
- PHYS 234 Modern Physics
- One of the following two courses:
PHYS 331 Theoretical Mechanics
PHYS 333 Electricity and Magnetism - PHYS 425 Mathematical Physics I
- PHYS 426 Mathematical Physics II
