<p>What could be better than using your imagination and creativity in ways you have never dreamed of-- just by doing your homework? What if you could involve yourself in a world of amazing technological breakthroughs? How about developing you're own artistic talents in all of the areas you've ever been interested in, like theater, sound production, design, and more? Dream, for a moment, that a future at Fredonia State could hold all of this, while at the same time preparing you for a career that both you and your parents will be proud of. Well, it's time to stop dreaming and start thinking about what you want out of the next four years, because the opportunity to do all of this as part of the Media Arts program at Fredonia State is now.<br>

<p>Our Media Arts program at SUNY Fredonia focuses on teaching students to use current and emerging tools and technology to create works out of expressive feelings and ideas. Semesters revolve around courses covering an intense variety of the things that interest you. For example, if you spend your morning class exploring the exciting possibilities of photography in the media, you might use your afternoon to examine painting techniques, or even computer arts.<br>

Basically, students in this program cover all of the bases. They are challenged to appreciate, analyze, and create works in every media form: video, drawing, photography, audio, interactive media, design, and digital painting. Classes cover everything you will need to know, from multiple approaches to subject matter and basic and advanced computer software applications to state-of-the-art technology, criticism in historical and cultural contexts, and theory. As students advance in their development of critical, imaginative, and creative thinking, they can consider trying out their skills in real-life situations. Our junior and senior level internship program allows students to get a head start on their careers with the help of both commercial and public sector clients.<br>
