The social work program at Fredonia has an active Social Work Club that is open to all students who share an interest in helping others. This student led organization provides input into program development, organizes social and learning events for current, as well as prospective students, do fund-raising and involve themselves in community service. The Social Work Club allows students to focus on their specific interests and become involved in the human service community, early in their professional education.
A club executive is elected in the spring semester and a schedule of meetings and activities is developed at the beginning of each fall semester. All social work majors are encouraged to be a part of this organization, although membership is voluntary.
