These peer advisors are successful students academically, knowledgeable about their majors and the campus, and can share their insights and experiences with the student. Selection of peer advisors is based on their leadership ability and commitment to helping others. Their job is to assist freshman by providing information, directions, referrals to campus services, and listen to the student when they need to talk to a friendly person.
