Supplemental Instruction (SI)
The Supplemental Instruction (SI) program helps EDP students develop study skills, analytical and quantitative abilities, problem solving and communication skills, and test taking skills necessary to successfully master course material. SI courses are linked to College Core Curriculum courses and expose college freshman to introductory courses in a variety of academic fields. Courses are credit bearing and taught in a small group setting by the parent course instructor. Research has found this environment conducive for learning and retention of course material and encourages student participation in classes
Supplemental Instruction lab recitations have been offered from the following courses:

- Survey of Pre-Calculus Lab
- Survey of Calculus Lab
- Grammar and Writing Workshop
- Freshman Orientation Seminar I and II
