Make a chart (or copy and paste this one into a Word® document) like this:

As you read the assigned book, fill in the chart (electronically, please) with some rough notes on what you’re noticing as you read.  You will not post this journal, but you will turn it in with your portfolio as evidence of your improved literacy skills (a course goal).  This reading journal will help you write your First Impressions, which you will post.
