After using public computers, wash
your hands to avoid the spread of germs. Here's how to do it
right:
- If automatic paper towel roll is
unavailable, get your paper towel BEFORE you start to wash your
hands.
- Use warm (not hot) water and
soap.
- Rub your hands together with soap
for at least 20 seconds. Hum the ABCs, your school fight song,
or "Happy Birthday" twice to time yourself.
- Rinse hands and paper-towel dry
them. Then use the paper towel to turn off the faucet (don't
touch the faucet with your clean hands) if it's not automatic.
- Keep the used paper towel in your
hand to open the restroom door, and dispose of it in the nearest
waste bin.
