Expected Family Contribution (EFC)

The Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is the amount you and your family are expected to contribute toward you education. It is calculated based on a formula called the "Federal Methodology" established by the U.S. Congress for the purpose of awarding Federal Student Financial Aid.
