Accepting private gifts
from alumni and friends since 1964

The Fredonia College Foundation, Inc., was founded in 1964 during the presidency of Oscar A. Lanford to encourage and accept private gifts and endowments from individuals and corporations in order to support the students, faculty, and programs of the State University of New York at Fredonia.

With a primary mission of providing scholarships to the best, brightest and most deserving students, the Fredonia College Foundation supports many diverse programs and events that enrich both the university and the Western New York Region. Federal law has designated the Fredonia College Foundation as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt charitable corporation.

The Fredonia College Foundation works closely with the University Advancement Division at SUNY Fredonia as it develops ongoing support from its alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, community, friends, and legislators.
