English

An 8-20 page graduate-level essay on the topic of your choosing. Papers that have been graded for previous coursework are acceptable.  This paper should provide evidence of your ability to integrate secondary research and to document such sources according to a citation style used in the field (generally MLA, Chicago or APA).

 

Interdisciplinary Studies

Please note that Interdisciplinary Studies applicants must complete a program proposal form as part of the admissions process. The program proposal form is located in the Downloadable Forms section of the online application.

 

Music Performance and Music Theory/Composition

Please note that an audition is required as part of the admissions process. There is a separate audition form and $40 fee for auditions. Please visit the Downloadable Forms section to access the audition form.

 

Social Studies Adolescent Education

The GRE exam is required. You must indicate on the exam that scores should be sent to SUNY Fredonia.

 

TESOL

12-credit hours in a language other than English (LOTE) is required.
