From [sic] the Madding Crowd" by Archna
Prasad, a high school junior. It describes the multiple roles of
Liddy in the novel. This is one of 90 prize essays that form part
of a "ThinkQuest" program initiated by Advanced Network
& Services, Armonk, NY, USA, in which students 12 to 19
produce web pages containing essays deemed useful for other
students.
COMMENT:
Although marred by some potentially confusing typographical errors, the substance of the essay is
accurate but very elementary; it is of no practical value for scholars.
