UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA HYPERTEXT ARCHIVE

DESCRIPTION:

Address: http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/britpo.html
Master: Jerome McGann (jjm2f@lizzie.engl.virginia.edu)
Date: 07/01/04

A e-text archive of scholarly editions of British poetry, 1780-1910, at the Electronic Text Center, Alderman Library, University of Virginia, including both texts in the Virginia archive and links to other sources of scholarly hypertext editions.

COMMENT:

Of Hardy texts, the archive at this time includes only a link to the Wessex Poems & Other Verses in the Columbia University Project Bartleby collection (see our Link A 29). But the Virginia archive includes scholarly hypertext editions of works by such contemporaries of Hardy's as Lewis Carroll and A.E. Housman, as well as other scholarly hypertexts in Project Bartelby to which the Virginia archive links. Members of the Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA) can also use the Chadwyck-Healey English Poetry Database, AD 600-1900. For more information, contact David Seaman (etext@virginia.edu).
