Login Instructions | SUNY Fredonia

The Your Connection web interface is accessed from the Your Connection icon located at the bottom of the SUNY Fredonia Homepage at http://www.fredonia.edu. This interface provides SUNY Fredonia students and employees initial access to user-specific information, including UserID and password information for use of electronic resources and computing facilities at Fredonia. Initial login to Your Connection uses the users social security number as the UserID and the users birthdate in MMDDYY format for the PIN. The user is forced to change the PIN immediately and is encouraged to use the generated UserID (not the social security number) for all subsequent Your Connection access. The generated UserID is displayed in the Your Connection Personal Information/View Your UserIDs & Password section.

Your e-mail, ANGEL, and computer lab network logon usernames and passwords displayed in the Your Connection Personal Information/View Your UserIDs & Password section will be used for access to the following electronic resources by students and employees new to the Fredonia campus after June 27, 2004:

Fredonia e-mail for delivery/receipt of official and faculty/staff/student electronic communication.
ANGEL Learning Management Suite used by many SUNY Fredonia faculty for distribution of course materials, online discussions, collection of assignments, and test delivery.
Windows logon from campus computing facilities (office desktops, computer labs, smart classrooms, etc.).

Individuals enrolled or employed prior to June 28, 2004 will use the initial generated password for Windows logon as the campus transitions to a new network logon system during summer and fall 2004. (All other electronic resources will continue to utilize passwords these users had in place from prior enrollment periods.)

Please Note:

The password can be changed when logging into each of these secured areas the first time (or any time the user chooses), or the user may continue using the initial generated password for all secured access. Changing the password for one account access does NOT change the password for all accounts.
Protect your IDs and Passwords. Do not give them out to others.
When changing passwords and PINS please follow the password integrity guidelines.
