INCUBATOR ADMISSION CRITERIA
Tenant & Affiliate Clients

The business must be either:
1. A new or early-stage technology based business
2. A spin-off of an existing business
3. A business seeking to move into the region
A for-profit business
Potential for significant future growth
Potential for significant job development
A commitment to locating in the region
Be able to benefit from incubator tenancy or affiliation
A significant time commitment to the business by the owners, the principal(s), or their managers and/or staff.
Not be in direct competition with an existing tenant or affiliate
Possess adequate financial resources
Have a developed business model supported by at least an outline of a business plan
Demonstrate a willingness to adhere to the policies of the incubator including financial reporting, the lease and/or client agreement and tenant/affiliate regulations.
Meet the requirements, goals and business standards of New York State, the State University of New York and SUNY Fredonia.
