Special Note for students transferring from a U.S. school:

If you are currently attending school (ESL, high school, college, university, etc.) in the U.S., please print the SEVIS Record Transfer Form, complete the top portion and give the form to the immigration official at the school you are attending.   They should complete the bottom portion and return it to the International Education Center as instructed on the form.  The IEC cannot issue a new SEVIS I -20 until your SEVIS record is transferred to us from your current school.

Transfer Credit Policy-  At the time of admission, Fredonia will review the academic credit listed on an official US or international college transcript. We will determine which courses will transfer to Fredonia and accept them as general elective credit only. The amount of credit accepted will be posted on your acceptance letter.  If a student wants an particular course to fulfill a specific College Core Curriculum, Major, Minor, or Concentration course requirement, then the student must provide a course description (translated in English) so that Fredonia can determine its equivalent.  All transfer credit evaluation requests must be made in  the first semester the student is enrolled at Fredonia. A transfer credit evaluation guide for many of the colleges from which we commonly receive transfer students is available at our Transfer Credit Information page.
