The National Student Exchange (NSE) provides opportunities for undergraduate students to study for up to one calendar year at another NSE member college or university and take courses not offered at SUNY Fredonia. With 200 colleges and universities participating throughout the U.S., Canada, the U.S Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam and the District of Columbia, there are choices available for everyone. NSE has been providing educational opportunities and service to over 70,000 students for over 35 years. It's a great way to enjoy a different geographic area, experience a different cultural/social environment, and explore graduate and professional schools.
Most placements are made at the annual conference in early March so students are encouraged to apply early. For further information about NSE, please contact Mary Hills in the Office of International Education and visit the website http://www.nse.org/ for a complete listing of all participating universities and colleges.
The NSE program at SUNY Fredonia is part of the larger International Education Center. The Center's goal is to advance the university's commitment to raise awareness of global interdependence and celebrate the richness of cultural diversity, even if this diversity resides within Americas borders.
Application Materials can be obtained from the International Education Center at SUNY Fredonia (6 LoGrasso Hall)
