Naomi Baldwin, Ph.D.
Director, Office of International Education
Dr. Baldwin serves as the Senior International Officer for the campus and oversees all programs in the Office of International Education. As part of the Executive Committee for the Global and Internationalization Engagement Council (GIEC), she leads the campus in implementing its comprehensive internationalization plan. She also oversees all study abroad and exchange programs, develops and oversees all international academic partnerships and agreements, and works collaboratively with the Office of Admissions, Graduate Studies, the Office of Campus Life, and EC English Fredonia. She earned her doctorate with two areas of focus in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Prior to her appointment at SUNY Fredonia, she lived and taught in South Korea for nearly six years.
Assistant Director, Study Abroad and Student Exchange
Erin advises students who are interested in enhancing their education through study abroad. Prior to working at Fredonia, she worked as a Study Abroad Advisor at Canisius College in Buffalo, where she also received a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration. As an undergraduate, Erin studied English and Comparative Politics at the University at Buffalo, and studied abroad in South Africa and Rwanda. She is interested in Islam and the Middle East, where she has also lived and worked. Erin loves seeing how students grow from their study abroad experiences, and is excited to promote international education on campus!
Amanda has worked at Fredonia for the past three years. Prior to coming to the Office of International Education, she was in the Office of Admissions for one year. Amanda also holds an associate’s degree in Individual Studies from Jamestown Community College. In the Office of International Education, she is an integral asset to the day-to-day operations of the office. Her main areas are processing student records, keeping track of the financial budget of the office, supervising the students assistants and work study students, and helping to organize the annual Slush Rush 5K Run/Walk to benefit international student scholarships.
Head Student Assistant
Will is an internationalization leader on campus! He is heavily involved in student organizations and has recently served on the Comprehensive Internationalization Task Force, the search committee for the Director of the Office of International Education, and as the International Student Representative for the Fredonia Student Association. A senior at Fredonia, Will carries three majors in International Studies, French, and Spanish and a minor in Political Science. He has also studied abroad three times: a semester program in France, a short-term summer program in Chile and a J-Term program in Tanzania. In the office, Will meets with students who are in their first stages of planning their study abroad experiences as well as being a lead organizer for special programming in the office.
Maggy is a senior Inclusive Childhood Education: Spanish concentration major. She has been a creative leader and compassionate friend to Fredonia’s international students. She is a member of Teacher Education Club (TEC) and Fredonia Pride Alliance club. She is the Summer 2014 Intern at the Full Opportunity Program, which offers 1 on 1 personalized tutoring for international students. Maggy has traveled to Peru, Canada, and the Bahamas. At the Office of International Education, Maggie is the anchor of our office and will likely be the first face you see!

Assistant Director, International Student Services
Jacob advises international students on visa-related matters, life in the United States, and a myriad of other issues. He is also responsible for implementing programming for international students to help facilitate a stronger connection with Fredonia and other students. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from SUNY Buffalo State.
Assistant Director, International Admissions
Jessica travels the world to spread the word of Fredonia to potential international students at Fredonia. Along the way, her role is to answer any and all questions that potential international students might have about Fredonia and assist them throughout the application process. In her recruitment position, Jessica has had the opportunity to visit Ireland, Malta and South Korea and will be visiting China, Mexico and Saudi Arabia in the next few months. A graduate of Fredonia in 2005, she studied English and then went on to Canisius College for a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration while working as the graduate assistant in the Admissions Office at Fredonia.
