Conservatorio Superior de Musica Manuel Castillo de Sevilla (CSM)
The Conservatorio Superior de Musica Manuel Castillo de Sevilla is a conservatory of international stature primarily involved in preparing students for the music profession. It is composed of four specialties: instrumental instruction, composition, musicology, and choir conducting. Although some instruction is offered in English, students will need to understand Spanish at an intermediate level to participate fully. Intensive language instruction is available at the University of Seville prior to classes beginning at the Conservatory. The Conservatory is located in the heart of the historically rich city of Sevilla within walking distance of the Cathedral of Santa Maria, Giralda Tower, the 14th century Royal Alcazar palace and traditional Flamenco performances.
