There will be a power outage on the campus from:
6:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008
to
5:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008

This power outage will allow the Facilities Management Department to perform preventative maintenance on the electric distribution systems.
 
Karen Klose, Associate V.P. of Information Technology, is advising:  the campus network, e-mail, website, Internet and other services maintained centrally in the Maytum Hall Computing Center will remain available during the outage due to the use of an external emergency generator.  All on-campus PC and Macintosh users and lab coordinators are advised to turn off and unplug their machines prior to 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2008.
