To get started, go to www.fredonia.edu and scroll to the bottom of the page. Once there you will see the following listing under ‘e-Services’.

eServices

The first step is logging into “Your Connection”. This is where all of your personal information is stored and where you will find your E-Services ID. Click on Your Connection and you will see this screen:

 Your Connection

To initially login, you will need to put in your F-ID Number into the User ID box. Your default PIN is your six digit date of birth (MMDDYY). For instance, if you were born on August 1, 1990 your default PIN would be 080190.

Once successfully logged in you will be asked to change your default PIN to another PIN. The Your Connection PIN requires a length of six characters composed of any combination of uppercase or lowercase letters, numbers, or special characters. For your security and protection of privacy, please do not use any portion of your name or other easily guessed configurations.

You will also be asked to choose 3 security questions and the answers to these questions. They will be used to validate your identity in case you happen to forget your PIN at any point and need to reset it.

Once inside Your Connection you will see personal information items. Under “Personal Information” click ‘View Your User IDs and Passwords’.

Personal Info

Under ‘View Your User IDs and Passwords’ you will see your ‘Your Connection ID’ (FID) and PIN and your ‘e-Services ID’. Under which you can change any of your PINs or Passwords.

 UserIDs and Passwords

At any time you may change your ‘Your Connection’ PIN by clicking Change Your PIN. You will be taken to a new screen that will ask for your old PIN, and you will be asked to enter a new PIN twice:

 Change PIN

If you click Reset, your PIN will be reset to the default PIN (your date of birth MM/DD/YY).

Under the e-Services tab you will find your e-Services ID and your default password.  Here you can change or reset your password. When you initially login it is recommended that you change your e-Services password. Click “To Change Your Password”. After clicking you will see this page:

Manage My eServices Password

Enter your e-Services ID and your current password (initially your “current” password would be your Default Password). Enter a new password, the password MUST be at least 7 characters long and contain 3 out of 4 of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. After clicking ‘Change Password’ the system will tell you if your password was successfully changed.

If at any time you forget your e-Services password, click “To Reset Your Password”. This will reset your password to your default e-Services ID password. Once it is reset, follow the above instructions to change the password.

To recap, your F-ID number and PIN is to get you into the “Your Connection” system. Your “e-Services” ID and Password will get you into FREDapps, things like Angel and Fredmail.

If you have any questions or are unable to do any of the above, contact the Help Desk at 716-673-3150.
