SA: Executive elections ahead
Chief Justice Jacob Amankwaah announced that four groups had been given community service after committing statute violations including the Computer Science Club, Sigma Kappa, the DV Film Club, and RAC were all issued four hours of community
service.
Melanie Smith, a sophomore political science major, was appointed to the elections committee.
The executive elections will decide the executive positions of president, vice president
and student comptroller. The debate is Nov. 8 in The Spot and the elections are Nov. 13.
SA President Dahn Bull announced that he and other SA members would be attending
the New York State Student Association conference last weekend. Those who attended
were Jason Mellen, Robin Hoepfinger, Patrick Horn, Jacob Amankwaah, Alison Bracikowski, Andrew Mejia, and Kaylene Dunning.
Sam Daley, senior history major, was appointed as chair of Diversity Awareness. Daley has been a part of Latinos Unidos for three years and has dealt closely with the Center for Multicultural Affairs.
Robin Hoepfinger from the department of environmental affairs said that the recycling
bins promised by campus Sustainability Committee had not arrived yet and that she had made inquiries to a number of Fredonia administrators regarding the issue.
