Reed Library has 35 computers for the use of students, faculty and staff at Fredonia. These computers are available on a first-come, first served basis and offer the following software packages:
- Internet Explorer
- Firefox
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Powerpoint
- Microsoft Excel
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
If you are looking for a specific type of software and want to know if it is in another lab on campus, please refer to the Computer Lab Website, which will list the types of machines and software packages offered at each lab on campus.
Two black and white printers are available in the main area of the library. A color printer is also located in this area.
The Music collection has a black and white printer available for use in that area.
There is a scanning station, located near the circulation desk, for your convenience. Adobe ImageReady is offered for the editing of photos. No printing is available at this station.
There is a standing station, located at the reference desk for checking the library catalog, looking up your e-services username and password, etc. There is a five minute time limit for each use on this machine and no printing is available from this station.
There are two computers designated for community patron use when available. These machines can be used on a first-come, first served basis. Fredonia students, faculty and staff have first priority on these computers.
