Reserve Requests
For Faculty: Please use the form below to request reserve items. You may also use this same form to attach a syllabus or bibliography and send it to the circulation department for processing.
Electronic Reserves
For Electronic Reserves (E-Reserves), items will be scanned electronically and placed on reserve in the faculty member's ANGEL course space. Items that cannot be scanned, such as entire books, CD-ROMs and DVDs will be placed on traditional reserve, with a link from the ANGEL course so that students can check the availability of the item. E-Reserves are accessible to students 24x7 via ANGEL. An electronic copy will be kept for future use. Library staff will have access to publish to the faculty member's ANGEL course in order to add and expire content. If you do not currently use ANGEL, we will still publish materials in ANGEL for students to access and Library staff will manage the ANGEL e-reserves area of the course for you. In order to participate, you need to complete a reserve request form (above), indicating the items that will be captured electronically, and submit a copy of each reading. Please make sure submitted copies are high quality documents that will be legible after they are scanned. Library staff will process readings including a copyright stamp which will display on the scanned document. Articles will be scanned into PDF documents and put directly into the faculty member's existing ANGEL course. Faculty will receive an email confirmation when their E-Reserves items are posted to ANGEL.
