Academic Search Premier (SUNYConnect) : Find information on almost any topic! Contains the full text of over 4,450 magazines, journals and newspapers and indexing for many, many more. Coverage dates back to 1975 for many publications. A great starting point for research!
Access Newspaper Archive (on campus only): Access NewspaperARCHIVE contains tens of millions of searchable newspaper pages, dating as far back as the 1700s. It is your gateway to searching and reading historical newspapers online.
AgeLine: Includes citations and summaries of age-related research in fields such as psychology, sociology, social work, and the health sciences.
America: History and Life: Locate research articles on the history of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present. Citations, summaries, and links full text articles are available, with coverage dating back to 1954.
American Chemical Society Journals: Contains full text journals published by the American Chemical Society, some of which go back to the first volume and issue.
American National Biography: Locate full text biographies for over 17,400 American men and women. Includes images.
Annual Reviews: Locate full text analytic reviews in 33 focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Physical, and Social Sciences. Coverage dates back to the 1930s for some publications.

BioOne: Contains citations and summaries of articles published in over 82 journals focusing on the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. Links to full text are sometimes available.

Ethnic NewsWatch: Ethnic NewsWatch is a full text collection of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. A rich collection of articles, editorials, columns, reviews, etc. provide a broad diversity of perspectives and viewpoints on a variety of subjects.
FirstSearch: FirstSearch contains a myriad of databases for research, most appropriately titles such as WorldCat and ArticleFirst.
Funk and Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia: This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.

General Science Collection

International Bibliography of Theater and Dance: Provides full text information covering the disciplines of Theatre and Dance.
JSTOR: Provides a comprehensive backfile of major scholarly journals in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Ecology & Botany, General Science, Language & Literature, and Music. Journals are not current, most having a "moving wall" or "embargo" of three to five years, depending on publication.
Latino Literature, Poetry, Drama, and Fiction: Includes fiction, poetry and plays, representing the Chicano culture, as well as the different ethnicities of Latin American writers with a Hispanic background working in the United States.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe: Primarily used for legal research, this source also covers news, financial, and medical information.
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstract: Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.
Literature Resource Center: Covers writers (novelists, poets, essayists, journalists and others) with in-depth material for the 2500 most studied authors. MathSciNet: A carefully maintained and easily searchable database of reviews, abstracts and bibliographic information for much of the mathematical sciences literature.
MedLine (SUNYConnect) : The standard search tool from the National Library of Medicine for fields in health and medicine.
Mergent Online: Search for US Company data, including EDGAR reports.
Military and Government Collection (SUNYConnect) : Designed to offer current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government, also including full text pamphlets.
MLA International Bibliography: Covers literature, language, linguistics, dramatic arts and the practice of teaching language. Articles, books, book chapters, and dissertation citations from 1920-Present. Includes a directory of periodicals.
Music Index: This database indexes over 640 music periodicals online. Search by keyword or subject.
National Newspaper Index
: Full text coverage from 1977-Present of top-five American newspapers: Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and New York Times (Book Review and Magazine included).
NAXOS Music Library: Naxos Music Library provides access to over 75,000 tracks and more than 5,000 CDs with over 2,500 composers represented. The library offers the complete Naxos, Marco Polo and Da Capo catalogues as well as Jazz and World music and educational products.
NetLibrary (SUNYConnect) : Search for books and other materials online. Contains over 500 medical and health eBooks and 125 new business titles, as well as over 1300 general titles and the free collection of over 3800 electronic items.
