  • Humanities International Complete: This database includes all data from Humanities International Index plus unique full text content, much of which is not found in other databases.
  • MLA International Bibliography: Covers literature, language, linguistics, dramatic arts and the practice of teaching language. Articles, books, book chapters, and dissertation citations from 1920-Present.  Includes a directory of periodicals.
  • Literature Resource Center: Covers writers (novelists, poets, essayists, journalists and others) with in-depth material for the 2500 most studied authors.   Includes standard reference sources: Contemporary Authors; Dictionary of Literary Biography; Contemporary Literary Criticism (Select); and the Encyclopedia of Literature.
  • JSTOR: Provides a comprehensive backfile of major scholarly journals in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Ecology & Botany, General Science, Language & Literature, and Music.  Journals are not current, most having a "moving wall" or "embargo" of three to five years, depending on publication.

  • Emily Dickinson's Correspondences: This digital archive brings together seventy-four poems and letters from Emily’s correspondence with her sister-in-law and primary confidante, Susan Dickinson. Each text is presented with a digitized scan of the holograph manuscript.
  • Project Gutenberg: Provides access to over 20,000 free ebooks.
  • Google Book Search: If the book is out of copyright, or the publisher has given us permission, you'll be able to see a preview of the book, and in some cases the entire text. If it's in the public domain, you're free to download a PDF copy. 
  • The Poetry Tool:  Source of information from the Poetry Foundation about poets and poems, searchable by title, occasion, first line, etc.
