• MEDLINE with Full Text : The standard search tool from the National Library of Medicine for fields in health and medicine.  contains over 1000 full text journal.
• Health Source - Consumer Edition : contains consumer health information on topics such as child care, sports medicine and general health
• Health Source - Nursing/Academic Edition : Contains over 500 full text scholarly journals in the medical disciplines. Also contains the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers drug information. 
• PubMed Central is the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature.

• Funk and Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia: This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas. 
• Gale Virtual Reference Library: A database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. 
• Oxford Reference: Includes over 175 subject reference works.
• The A.D.A.M. Medical Encyclopedia:  includes over 4,000 articles about diseases, tests, symptoms, injuries, and surgeries.  Also contains medical photos and illustrations. (Part of MedlinePlus)

• Health News Review.org:  This site provides objective reviews of media stories covering therapeutic claims, such as a new medical treatment, procedure, drug, supplement, or test.
