• Historical Abstracts: A guide to content covering the history of the world from prehistory to the present (EXCLUDING North America).
• JSTOR:   Provides a comprehensive backfile of major scholarly journals in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Ecology & Botany, General Science, Language & Literature, and Music.  Journals are not current, most having a "moving wall" or "embargo" of three to five years, depending on publication.
• World News Digest: This database compiles major headlines from around the world, and dates from 1940 - present
