Journals/Articles 

 
  • MLA International Bibliography: Covers literature, language, linguistics, dramatic arts and the practice of teaching language. Articles, books, book chapters, and dissertation citations from 1920-Present.  Includes a directory of periodicals. 
  • Literature Resource Center: Covers writers (novelists, poets, essayists, journalists and others) with in-depth material for the 2500 most studied authors.   Includes standard reference sources: Contemporary Authors; Dictionary of Literary Biography; Contemporary Literary Criticism (Select); and the Encyclopedia of Literature.
  • JSTOR: Provides a comprehensive backfile of major scholarly journals in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Ecology & Botany, General Science, Language & Literature, and Music.  Journals are not current, most having a "moving wall" or "embargo" of three to five years, depending on publication.
