J-Term 2012
SUNY Fredonia Students may register online beginning October 10, 2011. Tuition and fees must be paid in full at the time of registration to avoid being dropped from classes. Visiting Students may register for J-Term courses by downloading the Registration Form from this site. Payment and documentation of college coursework is due with registration. The deadline for online and mail-in J-Term registration is December 2; in-person registration runs from December 5 through December 23.

Registration or Admission Status Information A. Undergraduate Students wishing to enroll for J-Term courses must meet the prerequisites of the course(s) in which they would like to register and one of the following criteria for eligibility.
Course Request Information
Course Load During J-Term, students may enroll for a maximum of 4 credit hours. In order to be considered for an exception, students must submit their request in writing to the Director of Lifelong Learning and Special Programs explaining their individual situations. Approvals/denials will be provided in writing and copies sent to pertinent campus offices before students are eligible to register for additional credit. Printer friendly format:

Student Status and Tuition
1. Undergraduate students enrolled at SUNY Fredonia or visiting from another institution, use the following per credit hour table: New York State Resident: Tuition $220.00 + Fees $58.85 =$278.85/credit hour Non-NYS Resident: Tuition $597.00 + Fees $58.85 =$655.85/credit hour 2. Graduate degree or permanent certification students (curriculum code begins with 6 or 7) eligible to register at SUNY Fredonia, use the following per credit hour table: New York State Resident: Tuition $370.00 + Fees $58.85 = $428.85/credit hour Non-NYS Resident: Tuition $632.00 + Fees $58.85 = $690.85/credit hour 3. Graduate non-degree (non-matriculated) students (Fredonia or Visiting) taking: A. Undergraduate-level courses (100-400 level): To calculate the "course fee", multiply the number of credit hours for each course by the appropriate "fee per credit hour" (see Tuition and Fee schedule above). Add all course fees to determine the total balance due. Note: Full-time rates do not apply to J-Term. Tuition is calculated at the part-time per credit hour rate. * RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE by the State University of New York Board of Trustees prior to the start of school. Fee Payment Information If you have a question regarding fee payment, please contact the Office of Student Accounts 716.673.3236. According to SUNY policy, no student is allowed to register for future semesters until all tuition, fees and other current financial liabilities have been paid. PAYMENT IN FULL SHOULD BE MADE AT THE OF REGISTRATION - payment in full MUST be made by December 2, 2011 to avoid being dropped from classes. Check or money order for full payment should be made payable to "SUNY FREDONIA." You may not defer payment of amount due. *Waiver of Tuition: If you are presenting a valid cooperative teacher Tuition Waiver Certificate in lieu of cash payment toward tuition, attach certificate and payment for balance of tuition and fees. If you have been authorized for other types of waiver of tuition (i.e., Graduate Assistant, Employee, etc.) attach to your registration form an explanatory statement and payment for balance of tuition and fees. Please Note: Tuition waivers may only be applied toward the tuition charge. |
