 Dr. Harper authored the grant that earned the SUNY College at Fredonia the honor of hosting the McNair Scholars Program beginning in 1999. He oversees the progress of the program in addition to leading seminars that prepare McNair Scholars for research work. |

 Ms. Kimberly Gladden is responsible for the day to day operations of the McNair Scholars Program. She also teaches the McNair Academic Development Seminar, a weekly class to prepare Scholars for graduate studies. |

 Mrs. Loretta Slaton Torain is the person to talk to when you want to get into and stay in the Fredonia McNair Scholars Program. She coordinates all scholar activites and keeps the Scholars on their toes. |
