2012-13 Music Audition Schedule

On-campus auditions held in Mason Hall.

  • Saturday, November 10, 2012
    (for enrollment in Spring 2013 — transfer applicants, current Fredonia students, or graduate applicants only, audition application due November 2, 2012)
  • Thursday, January 17, 2013 (Long Island*)
    (audition application deadline extended to January 4, 2013)
  • Friday, January 18, 2013 (Long Island*)
    (audition application deadline extended to January 4, 2013)
  • Saturday, January 19, 2013 (Albany**)
    (audition application deadline extended to January 4, 2013)
  • Saturday, February 2, 2013
    (audition application due January 11, 2013)
  • Saturday, February 9, 2013
    (audition application due January 18, 2013)
  • Saturday, February 16, 2013
    (audition application due January 25, 2013)
  • Saturday, February 23, 2013
    (audition application due February 1, 2013)

    (audition application due March 22, 2013)

(Note: applicants for undergraduate admission who wish to be considered for music scholarships should audition no later than February 23, 2013.)

Students wishing to audition for the Masters of Music in Collaborative Piano should audition on the February 23 or April 6, 2013 audition days.

No percussion auditions are held at off-campus auditions.

The School of Music receives many more applications than we are able to admit, so we strongly recommend auditioning before the final date – especially in areas of highest demand: voice, saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, percussion, and Sound Recording Technology.
