Fredonia Summer Camps & Programs

  • Quartet Program
    (June 13 - August 1, 2010)

    Each seven-week participants learns "from scratch" and performs at The Quartet Program one Concerto movement, 2 contrasting Bach movements, or the equivalent along with two string quartets and a Sonata.

  • Summer Music ClarinetsFredonia Summer Music Festival
    (
    June 27-July 3, 2010)

    Open to high school music students, the Fredonia Summer Music Festival offers a friendly and relaxed camp setting for musical growth through performance in chamber ensembles and special topic workshops. Instruments include brass, winds, and percussion.

  • Wind Conducting Symposium
    (June 29 - July 2, 2010)

    A four-day intensive course designed to enhance the skills of conductors at every level, topics will include repertoire choices, rehearsal techniques, baton technique, ensemble development, score study, and recruiting. Graduate course credit available.

  • NYSSSA - Choral Studies
    (July 4 - July 31, 2010)

    Experience the joy of singing, the thrill of performing, and the power of choral music with other talented students and a superb artistic faculty during four weeks of intensive vocal two and musical instruction at the School of Choral Studies.

  • Art of Improvisation
    (August 1 - 6, 2010)

    Join Music for People and an extraordinary group of advanced and professional musicians as you explore the Art of Improvisation with the kind of commitment, nuance, and profundity found in fine classical ensemble playing and the best jazz, rock and world music combos.
