Sarah Marchitelli serves as Adjunct Professor of Music at the State University of
New York at Fredonia. In addition to her work at SUNY Fredonia, Marchitelli holds
the title of Associate Director at Infinity Visual and Performing Arts where she teaches
music classes, directs ensembles, and maintains a private studio.
Marchitelli holds both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from SUNY Fredonia.
As a student at SUNY Fredonia, Marchitelli worked for the Sigurd M. Rascher Archive
and gave a presentation about the collection at the New York State Archives Conference.
An active chamber musician, Marchitelli has appeared on concert series throughout
Puerto Rico, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States. Her performances have been
seen on television and heard on live radio. Marchitelli has also presented at the
North American Saxophone Alliance Region 8 Conference as well as the United States
Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium. Frequently performing with fellow saxophonist
Jacob Swanson, the two have partnered with pianists, orchestras, and composers to
share exciting works for two saxophones.
