Annual publications include the Financial Aid Directory for Members of the Six Nations and the Directory of Internships and Fellowships for Native Americans. In addition, we distribute announcements on our listserv to publicize opportunities and events.



Student Development

Personal and professional development through participation in local, regional, and national organizations and conferences, research projects, internships, and fellowships is strongly encouraged.



Campus & Community

The Western Consortium provides assistance and financial support for campus/ community events related to the recruitment, retention, and graduation of Native American students.

The Native American SUNY: Western Consortium is one of two consortia created by the State University of New York (SUNY) to address the higher education needs of Native American students and communities. The Western Consortium, based at SUNY Fredonia, is a network of college campus personnel, organizations, and Native American students, families, and communities.
