Purpose

To assist students who actively pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in the arts (visual, performing, communication, creative writing) and arts administration or management and who have a sincere desire to advance, elevate, and preserve Native American arts.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled in a degree program leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree in the study of the arts. Maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA (based on 4.0 GPA); Demonstrate academic performance and/or financial need.

Scholarships awarded during the academic year, Spring and Fall. Contact AIAC to verify fund availability prior to submitting application packet. Application can be downloaded from website.

Awards

Range $250 - $1000.

Complete Application; Tribal Certification; Official College Transcript; Verification of Financial Need and/or Current Enrollment in Accredited College/University; Three Letters of Recommendation.
