Purpose

To administer the Higher Education Grant Program to eligible undergraduate Indian students attending an accredited institution of higher education who are members of federally recognized Nations.

Eligibility

Enrolled member federally recognized Tonawanda Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Tuscarora Nations; Accepted in an accredited institution of higher education; Have financial need as determined by the institution's financial aid office.

General Information

Seneca Nation of Indians and St. Regis Mohawks administer BIA funds through respective Higher Education Programs - see pages 2 and 4 for application information. Reapplication required for continued funding.

July 15 for following Academic Year.
